Where to live in London ?

The City Living Survey, asked more than 12,000 Londoners to rate their postcode, and SW4 came out on top.

Residents were asked to assess their area based on a range of categories including eating and drinking options, family vibes, friendliness and trendiness, and were also asked to take into account practical matters including accessibility and affordability.

Those living in the area said there was plenty to love about SW4, including the spacious common, and great transport links, with three tube stops and Europe’s busiest railway station right on the doorstep.

The survey showed that life is good in the south west, as Clapham's near neighbour Balham came in second place, with SW12 ranked the next best place to live in the capital.

N1 in Islington was in third place, while E8 covering Dalston and Hackney was fourth, and E2 in Bethnal Green was fifth.
